Weekly Activity Overview

During this monitoring window, our global network recorded a total of 4,538 seismic events. This represents a period of standard tectonic release across several major plate boundaries.

Among these events, we classified 53 earthquakes as magnitude 5.0 or greater. These larger events required close observation but fortunately resulted in limited widespread impact.



Peak Seismic Event

The most notable event of the week occurred near the Coast of Venezuela, registering a major magnitude of 7.4. This powerful release of energy triggered immediate regional monitoring protocols.
